Sooji
porridge with dal
Ingredients
- Moong
dal (dehusked) - 10 gms.
- Jaggery
- 25 gms.
- Suji
- 25 gms.
- Milk
- 50 ml.
Method
- Roast
and grind the dal
- Roast
suji.
- Mix
suji, dal, jaggery, milk and small amount of water.
- Cook
to get a required consistency.
- Serve.

Spinach
Burfi with peanuts
Ingredients
- Spinach
- 100 gms.
- Sugar
- 25 gms.
- Peanuts
- 25 gms.
Method
- Wash
and cut the spinach leaves.
- Steam
and grind the spinach leaves to a paste and cook till slightly dry.
- Roast
peanuts, remove the skin and powder them finely.
- Prepare
sugar syrup of two thread consistency.
- Add
spinach mixture and powdered peanuts to the sugar syrup.
- Spread
the mixture on a greased plate and cut into pieces when set.
- Serve
when required as a snack.
